The main objective of the “Home Care Service for Children with Disabilities” measure is to provide care to children with disabilities in their home environment, promoting their right to live in a family setting and preventing their admission to residential care institutions.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia provides services prescribed by law to persons who have been subjected to human trafficking and exploitation or sexual violence

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia provides shelter services to persons who have been subjected to domestic and family violence. Within the framework of the measure, services prescribed by law are provided to persons subjected to violence within the family in the Republic of Armenia and the city of Yerevan.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia provides support center services to persons subjected to family and domestic violence.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs continues to provide day care services to children in 2026, in accordance with their assessed individual social needs.

To provide the necessary services, grant competitions have been announced in the field of child rights protection. The required services will be delivered through non-governmental organizations that participated in the competitions and were selected as winners.

Within the framework of temporary shelter services for homeless persons, the services provided include accommodation in a general-type temporary shelter, in-kind assistance, medical care, social and psychological support and counseling.

Within the framework of 24-hour care services in Lori Province, beneficiaries are provided with accommodation, care, primary medical care and services, social and psychological support, as well as legal counselling. Older persons are provided with food, clothing, household items, and personal hygiene products. Varieties of cultural activities are also organized to make their daily lives more engaging.

Day care services (including meals) include:

• assessment of the individual social needs of day care center beneficiaries,
• development of an individual social plan based on the assessed needs,
• organization of leisure activities and engagement opportunities according to the beneficiary’s preferences,
• provision of one meal per day (5 days a week),
• organization of cultural events, meetings, excursions, and various clubs,
• provision of other services prescribed by law.

Home care services include household assistance, medical care, social and psychological support, counselling, as well as specialized care services.

To access these services, beneficiaries may apply to the territorial centers of the Unified Social Service.
