The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia provides shelter services to persons who have been subjected to domestic and family violence. Within the framework of the measure, services prescribed by law are provided to persons subjected to violence within the family in the Republic of Armenia and the city of Yerevan.

The services are provided with co-financing from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs through their delegation to non-governmental organizations.

The shelter provides the following services:

• provision of safe accommodation to beneficiaries free of charge,
• social support,
• psychological support,
• legal assistance,
• medical care,
• food and clothing, as well as the necessary furniture and supplies for children’s schoolwork.
