The main objective of round-the-clock care services for persons with disabilities is to provide accommodation and social inclusion through round-the-clock care and social rehabilitation services for adults aged 18 and over with disabilities, including intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions (hereinafter referred to as “beneficiaries”).

The program is implemented by an organization selected through a grant competition. The organization carries out the necessary activities in accordance with an individual social rehabilitation plan developed based on an assessment of the beneficiary’s needs.

The services are available to persons with disabilities aged 18 and over who are in difficult life circumstances and require accommodation, care, and other social services, provided that they have largely retained their self-care abilities, social skills and capacities and are able to live independently and manage their daily lives, but either have no accommodation or family, or their family has refused to provide care for them.

Round-the-clock care services are provided in conditions that closely resemble a family environment, in small group homes.

To access the services, beneficiaries must apply to a territorial Centre of the Unified Social Service.
