Day Care Services for Children
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs continues to provide day care services to children in 2026, in accordance with their assessed individual social needs.
To provide the necessary services, grant competitions have been announced in the field of child rights protection. The required services will be delivered through non-governmental organizations that participated in the competitions and were selected as winners.
In 2026, organizations that meet the standards established by the Ministry will provide the necessary services with state funding in the regions of the Republic of Armenia and in the city of Yerevan.
Within the framework of the Program, support is provided for the development of children’s physical and cognitive abilities and essential life skills. Social work is carried out with families, communities, and relevant stakeholders to ensure the provision of services necessary for children to live in a family environment, develop and receive education, and to prevent the need for alternative residential care.
To benefit from the Children’s Day Care Services Program, it is necessary to apply to a territorial center of the Unified Social Service or to a day care service center.
