Minister of Labor and Welfare Arsen Torosyan attended, as an honorary guest, an event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence.

In his remarks, Minister Torosyan conveyed congratulations from the Government of the Republic of Armenia to the people of Ukraine on the occasion and emphasized that the Republic of Armenia attaches great importance to the consistent development and expansion of its bilateral relations with Ukraine based on friendship.

Arsen Torosyan noted that the high-level reciprocal visits and contacts that have intensified recently have given new impetus to interstate relations between Armenia and Ukraine.

In his speech, the Minister also highlighted the importance of programs and initiatives implemented in the humanitarian, educational, economic, and cultural spheres, noting that joint efforts can provide new impetus to the implementation of programs and initiatives of mutual interest.

Arsen Torosyan reaffirmed Armenia’s readiness to continue contributing, through mutual cooperation, to the further strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries.
